Hi, my name is Kaylee Lane - Founder of KL Creative!
I am a college student with a lifelong love for creativity and design. Ever since I was young, people have told me I have a unique eye - the kind that notices details that others miss and sees design potential in everyday moments. What started as a natural instinct has grown into a passion for digital media, storytelling through videos, and helping others bring their ideas to life.
The outdoors has always shaped who I am and how I create so when I was blessed with the offer to film for a waterfowl hunting guide, I leaped at the opportunity. I have also filmed rodeos across the state of Texas and snowboarders on the slopes of New Mexico. These experiences taught me how to move fast, adapt, and tell real, authentic stories through a lens - not just stage something that looks good.
For years, I wasn’t exactly sure what my calling was. I thought about becoming a residential architect, interior designer, licensed therapist, a teacher and even a pilot at one point. All of these potential careers sounded like something I could do but I couldn’t help but feel like they led me to a soulless, empty dead-end. Designing, filming, editing, and building visual experiences always pulled me back in. That’s when KL Creative was born:
a place where creativity meets purpose!
I love working with the people who say “I’m not creative” or “I don’t even know where to start.” Those are my favorite projects. Whether you feel like a pro or you draw stick-figures, I believe everyone deserves designs they’re proud of. My goal is to make the process approachable, collaborative, and actually fun.
Through KL Creative, I combine design, photography, and videography to help brands, businesses, and individuals share their message in a way that tells a story while also being authentic and memorable.
Outside of work, the things that matter most to me keep me grounded. My family is my foundation, and my dogs are right there with them - they’re a huge part of my everyday life and some of my favorite companions on any adventure. I’m most at peace watching a sunrise or sunset, whether I’m in the mountains, by a beach, or somewhere in between. God’s creations constantly inspire my creativity and remind me why I love capturing real, meaningful moments. My faith in God guides who I am, how I treat people, and the way I run my business.
When I’m not behind a camera or designing on my computer, you’ll probably find me outside - hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family, or chasing the next adventure that inspires my next project.
